About SymbolKit
SymbolKit is a free reference for finding, copying and understanding Unicode characters. Every chart on the site is click to copy, and every character is listed with its code point, HTML entity, CSS escape and Windows ALT code.

How the site is built
The whole site is generated from plain JSON data files by a small Node script. There is no database and no tracking script, so pages load as fast as the network allows.
The source, the data and the generator are all downloadable, and the setup guide explains how to add a page of your own.
Accuracy
Character names and code points follow the Unicode Standard. Reference data such as Morse code, the NATO phonetic alphabet and chemical element symbols is checked against the published standards.
If you spot an error, the contact page explains how to report it. Corrections are welcome and they get fixed quickly.
